The property was part of t h e R e d M o u n t a i n American Viticultural Area, established in 2001. Aquilini Brands, the bev- erage division of Aquilini Investment Group, had ten- dered a successful offer of $8.3 million for the land. The wine grower community was stunned. The Aquilini's did their research before purchasing the Red Mountain property.
