Torino 1864. Sono passati
appena tre anni dall'Unità
d'Italia. Sui libri di storia si
legge che proprio allora la capi-
tale del nuovo Stato, nato con
fatica dalle battaglie risorgi-
mentali, diventa Firenze. Una
tappa intermedia prima del
trasferimento definitivo a Roma
nel 1871, secondo quanto pre-
visto nel 1861 con la procla-
mazione del Regno d'Italia.
Ma sono passati anche 150
anni da un momento turbolento
di cui non si conserva memoria.
A Torino scoppiano violenti
tumulti: si protesta contro il
trasferimento della capitale a
Firenze. Per la città significava,
come poco prima era avvenuto
